Welcome to my space on the internet
ANSHITA PANDEY
MY STORY
I am a learner, a problem-solver, and, a go-getter. I enjoy challenges (I solve math problems for fun). My journey started in a city called Kanpur in India. We were poor and I was told it can all change if I study well and so I did. I graduated top of the class and went to university to pursue my bachelors in computer applications. I knew the only way out of financial struggle is academic excellence and learning. I enrolled myself into several clubs, worked hard and graduated with the highest GPA in the university (99.8%). I then worked with one of the top consulting firms in their business technology domain. The drive to do something more brought me to Canada, a country where I knew no one. Two post grads and President's honours later, currently I am working with one of Canada's largest banks where I was recently recognised as a top performer. My journey has just started and I have miles to go from here. (update: I now work as a developer for Canada's largest telecom company. Tech has always been my passion and I am excited for my journey ahead.)

SKILLS
I am a strong believer of being a lifelong learner. There is so much in the world to learn everyday. So far, in my career I have learned the importance of bringing empathy to the table. Sure, I have technical and business expertise but what I am most proud of is my compassion, and emotional intelligence. It is important to be 100% real and understand people you work with and for.
ANALYTICAL THINKING
What excites me the most? Problems. I see problems as an opportunity to challenge my thinking. If there were no problems the world would be a boring place with no innovation. When I found myself struggling to understand relative grading in university I built a web tool to help students better understand their grades (Read more about thre project on LinkedIn).
